Assessment & Therapy Services
Welcome to Dynamic Speech Pathology. Our Clinic has been operating since 2014. We provide therapy and assessment services, while also offering mobile services across the eastern and southeastern suburbs of Melbourne. We work with individuals who have language, fluency/stuttering, articulation/speech, processing, and pragmatic difficulties (including ASD).
Dynamic Speech Pathology uses an inclusive and family-centred approach to therapy to maximise gains and foster the generalisation of skills. About Us
Dynamic Speech Pathology is overseen by the lead Speech Pathologist, Roula Vareloglou (B.SpPath). At Dynamic Speech Pathology, Roula maintains top-notch qualifications and stays updated with the latest knowledge and clinical skills.
Home Visits
Home visits provide an ideal opportunity to observe children and their skill sets in their natural environment. Children are often more motivated by games and activities found at home, which helps speech therapists accurately determine natural interaction patterns within the family. Home visits can be complemented by sessions at school or via telehealth following an initial consultation.
School Visits
School visits allows Roula to observe interactions between clients and their peers and teachers. The school setting also enables the discussion and continuation of set goals within the school, maximising exposure to goals and targets. School visits may occur with or without the presence of parents. In cases where parents are absent, a home communication book is used to ensure clear communication of therapy goals.
Telehealth Appointments
Zoom call sessions are perfect for providing speech therapy services to individuals in remote or rural areas. Before each scheduled session, Roula will send a package of materials to be printed and prepared ahead of time. Zoom sessions are also great for family members or school staff who want to observe therapy goals being put into practice. In addition to session summaries, homework materials are still provided to individuals.
